For the Club's 3rd 2009 tour we visited Derby and Nottingham, including depot visits to Kinchbus, Trent Barton Derby depot and Bellamy, Nottingham.
The bus scene in Derby and Nottingham is very colourful with most buses in route-branded liveries, many of which are illustrated in this collection. Included at the end are a couple of photos of Nottingham's trams

A selection of shots from this year's Herne Bay rally. Unlike recent years when the East Kent garage was the main base, all vehicles used the William Street car park this year.

For its second trip of the year, the M&D & East Kent Bus Club visited Oxford, together with Northampton and Milton Keynes. Depot visits were to City of Oxford and Country Lion, plus a short visit to South Mimms, home to a number of operators.

In connection with the Armed Forces day at Chatham Dockyard, two Park & Ride services were operated, mostly using London buses. This collection shows some of the vehicles in use on these services together with some of the coaches visiting the event and a few service buses. Most photos were taken on the roads close to the dockyard.

For its first trip of the 2009 season on 6 June, the Club visited East Anglia, the main purpose being to visit all of Hedingham's depots, but also taking in a visit to Talisman Coaches and town centre visits in Colchester and Ipswich

The photos in this collection were all taken on the Saturday of the rally. The early shots are at Preston Park prior to the road run with the rest being taken on Madeira Drive as the vehicles arrived and parked up for display.

The M&D & East Kent Bus CLub's second tour of 2008 visited the Isle of Wight, including a stop in Portsmouth prior to our trip across the Solent. On the Isle of Wight visits were made to Ryde, Seaview Services depot, Newport, and then to the Isle of Wight bus museum.

The M&D & East Kent Bus Club's first trip of 2008 visited the East Midlands. Huntingdon, Emblings of Guyhirn, Peterborough, Delaine of Bourne (including an early 58 reg sighting!) and Leicester. On the journey back a stop was made at South Mimms

part 2 of the PSV Circle AGM weekend - Ensign, Purfleet, Imperial, Rainham, East London, Rainham; Swallow, Rainham; Romford town centre

The 2008 Annual General Meeting of the PSV Circle was held in Chelmsford this year. As usual, a programme of tours was organised over the weekend visiting various operators in the area. Friday evening - Talisman, Great Bromley and Staines, Clacton. Saturday - Stephenson, Rochford; Ford, Althorne; Southend town centre; Nelson, Wickford; Chelmsford town centre. Sunday - London Borough of Havering, Purfleet; (in part 2 of this collection) - Ensign, Purfleet, Imperial, Rainham, East London, Rainham; Swallow, Rainham; Romford town centre

A collection of photos from the 2008 Cobham rally at Wisley airfield, which will be remembered for the snow showers in the morning.

On 16 February 2008 Arriva Southern Counties closed their Hawkhurst depot along with the associated bus station. To mark the occasion the M&D & East Kent Bus Club in conjunction with the North kent Vehicle Preservation Group organised a running day with preserved vehicles operating various routes from the bus station. A display of vehicles was not possible at the bus station due to lack of space, so parking at the Gill's Green Industrial Estate at the old Hawkhurst station site was used to display vehicles between workings plus a few more not used in service.

on 18 August 2007 the M&D & East Kent Bus Club had a trip round Arriva the Shires territory, including visits to the garages at High Wycombe and Luton, Carousel Buses, Motts Travel and Mullanys coaches, plus town centre visits to High Wycombe and St Albans. On the journey back to Kent a stop was made at South Mimms services to view the operators based there plus some of the coaches passing through.

On 18 May 2007 The M&D & East Kent Bus Club organised a coach trip around the South Midlands, visiting Johnsons of Henley, BaMMOT at Wythall, Solihull and Coventry, plus DeCourcey's depot at Coventry airport.

On 11 May 2007 one of the first football matches following the opening of the new Wembley Stadium was between Kidderminster Town and Stevenage. Around 400 coaches from the West Midlands and Hertfordshire area brought the fans in. This collection illustrates some of them.

A collection of all the vehicles at the first day of the 53rd UK Coach Rally at Brighton (except an unregistered Caetano Optimo and an ex-Tellings Golden Miller coach in the trade display).
